Responsibilities
- Operate Warehouse Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided) to move stock.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing incoming merchandise to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders with precision and speed to meet strict deadlines.
- Stock Rotation: Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock checks to ensure older items are moved first (First-In, First-Out).
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with some flexibility for overtime if needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions safely.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
