Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks, staging merchandise according to warehouse protocols.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick items from the inventory and pack them for shipment using scanners and packaging materials.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and participating in cycle counts.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all shipments meet quality standards before leaving the facility.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times to comply with safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with shift supervisors and fellow team members to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly; ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Attitude: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
