Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Inventory Management: Sort, pack, and prepare products for shipment using barcode scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Stock Organization: Maintain accurate inventory levels and organize stock areas to maximize efficiency.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and in compliance with safety regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect goods for damage and ensure all packaging meets company standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
