In this high-impact role, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, AI ethics specialists, and sustainable tech pioneers to build the infrastructure of tomorrow. Our Austin hub offers unparalleled resources including a quantum computing lab and AI ethics incubator.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biocomputing, etc.)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through thought leadership
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biocomputing, or sustainable tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience scaling technical teams across multiple disciplines
- Prior work with federal tech initiatives (DARPA, NSF, etc.)
- Strong understanding of ethical tech deployment frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed technology journals
