Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (2024-2026 horizon) to forecast disruptive market shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing adoption and AI governance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from academic research and industry data
- Produce strategic whitepapers on climate-tech convergence and decentralized systems
- Partner with product teams to embed foresight into 18-month roadmaps
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at international futurism conferences and think tanks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or R&D innovation roles
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend forecasts or scenario planning projects
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI research platforms
- Deep understanding of Web3, biotech ethics, and circular economy principles
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) preferred
