Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies and societal trends to map 2026 innovation landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to anticipate market disruptions and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and prototype next-generation solutions
- Present actionable strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon as a 2026 innovation authority
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal education and pilot programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, biotech, and human augmentation technologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Experience building and managing external futurist networks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight implementations
