Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scan data to identify disruptive 2026+ market trends across AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Develop annual innovation roadmaps with measurable 5-year impact projections
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive teams on future workforce transformation
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions aligned with 2026 societal shifts
- Present strategic futures insights to investors and board members quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy or trend analysis at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
- Prior experience developing 10-year organizational roadmaps
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
