You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, lead cross-disciplinary think tanks, and translate complex market signals into actionable blueprints. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps using trend analysis and predictive modeling
- Lead quarterly 'FutureCast' workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Produce strategic briefings on disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Build scenario models for market disruption and competitive landscapes
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify emerging startups for acquisition
- Present annual 'Horizon Scan' reports to the board of directors
- Mentor junior futurists in our 'NextGen' talent pipeline program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, product innovation, or venture strategy
- Published thought leadership in emerging tech (IEEE, MIT Technology Review, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Analysis)
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, biotech, and climate tech convergence points
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Mapping, Systems Dynamics)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term product roadmaps
