Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify paradigm-shifting technologies by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, and climate tech integration
- Facilitate cross-industry symposia with C-suite executives from Fortune 500 companies
- Produce quarterly Futurist Briefings for the Board of Directors and key investors
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Manage $5M innovation fund for prototype development of 2026-viable solutions
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Future Leaders Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Emerging Technology
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technological singularity or human augmentation
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Demonstrated success in scaling futuristic concepts to commercial viability
- Deep expertise in at least two of: generative AI, neurotech, synthetic biology, or quantum computing
- Fluency in strategic visualization tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Systems Dynamics)
