Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Design and manage a global network of futurist advisors and academic collaborators
- Create visualizations and narratives to communicate complex future scenarios to non-technical audiences
- Advect innovation pipeline initiatives against 2026 societal and regulatory projections
- Represent the organization at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research with documented 2026+ project experience
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and systems thinking frameworks
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial strategy (portfolio of successful initiatives required)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to simplify complex concepts for C-suite audiences
- Experience leading global teams across 3+ time zones
