Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for 2026+ technological convergence points across quantum, bio, and digital domains
- Design corporate foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 clients navigating AI disruption
- Lead scenario planning workshops for climate resilience and post-scarcity economies
- Author white papers on metaverse governance and decentralized autonomous organizations
- Interface with DARPA and NASA on interstellar infrastructure blueprints
- Mentor junior futurists in transdisciplinary synthesis methodologies
- Curate annual 'Future Shock' symposium at SXSW
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Complexity Science (or equivalent portfolio)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight with published industry impact
- Mastery of Delphi techniques and Bayesian forecasting tools
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech verticals: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record influencing C-suite decisions through futures analysis
- Fluency in Python/R for predictive modeling and scenario simulation
