Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmap development for 2026+ technology initiatives, aligning with company vision and market trends
- Drive end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to commercialization, managing cross-functional teams
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and competitive landscapes
- Stakeholder engagement with C-suite executives, investors, and industry partners to secure buy-in and resources
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and track progress against 5-year strategic goals
- Mentor talent in innovation methodologies and foster a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation, product strategy, or R&D leadership with proven impact at Fortune 500 or scale-ups
- Expertise in future-casting methodologies, scenario planning, and technology trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or Technology (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Track record of launching 3+ breakthrough products or services with $10M+ revenue impact
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in agile, lean, and design thinking frameworks
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
