Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end innovation lifecycle from ideation to market deployment for 2026-era technologies
- Drive research in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics frameworks
- Build and lead high-performance multidisciplinary innovation teams
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual R&D budgets for emerging tech initiatives
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research institutions and Fortune 500 labs
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership roles
- Proven track record launching at least 3 breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or advanced AI systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (minimum 5 citations)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, NSF, etc.)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
