Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 technology innovation strategy aligned with market trends
- Lead ideation sessions for breakthrough products in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Manage $15M+ R&D budget and vendor partnerships for emerging tech
- Present innovation roadmap to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Build and mentor high-performing teams of futurists and technical architects
- Monitor global tech ecosystems and competitive landscapes
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy
- Collaborate with universities and research institutions for joint ventures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record launching market-disrupting products
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong financial acumen for budget management and ROI analysis
- Exceptional strategic thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ members
