Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate tech, neuro-economics) and develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenario Planning' workshops with engineering, product, and policy teams
- Produce quarterly 'Horizon Scans' identifying disruptive technologies and market inflection points
- Design and test prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges (e.g., AI governance frameworks, carbon-neutral supply chains)
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quantifying future opportunity landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of future-focused industry experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating future insights into market-leading products or policies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario modeling, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3.0)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or implemented strategic foresight projects
