Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators, technological disruptions, and sociocultural shifts to forecast 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for potential futures across 5 key vertical markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into strategic product roadmaps
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Briefings' for executive board on emerging opportunities/threats
- Establish KPI frameworks to track emerging adoption curves and market inflection points
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026-era consumer needs
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Economics, Data Science, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership on disruptive technologies or societal trends
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Proficiency in trend forecasting platforms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, TrendHunter)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic pivots based on future analysis
- Fluency in at least one additional language (Mandarin/Spanish preferred)
- CEFP (Certified Futurist Professional) certification or equivalent
