Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycle
- Advocate for transparent AI practices through stakeholder engagement and policy development
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to align AI outputs with societal values and legal requirements
- Monitor emerging AI regulations and adapt governance strategies proactively
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in AI ethics, governance, or responsible AI implementation
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Expertise in bias detection and mitigation techniques for ML systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate ethical principles into technical requirements
- Proven track record of influencing organizational AI strategy and policy
- Experience working with autonomous systems and decision-making algorithms
