Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Architect ethical AI frameworks and governance protocols for next-gen autonomous systems
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts (e.g., quantum-ML hybrids, neural interfaces)
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members with data-backed scenarios
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on the societal impact of 2026 technological shifts
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an innovation lab culture focused on moonshot thinking
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI Ethics, Futures Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8 years in AI/quantum research with 3+ years in strategic foresight or technology roadmapping
- Published research in top-tier AI/quantum journals or conference proceedings
- Expertise in generative AI architectures, quantum machine learning, and ethical AI frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating work on futuristic technologies with real-world impact
