Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend and night shifts in our state-of-the-art facility
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital protocols
- Support patient education and discharge planning procedures
- Participate in shift handovers and team huddles for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current Illinois nursing license (LPN/RN) or medical assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care or hospital setting
- BLS/ACLS certification required (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Proven ability to work independently during off-peak hours
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic computer proficiency for electronic health record systems
- Valid Illinois driver's license for occasional off-site visits
