Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and health assessments during weekend shifts
- Coordinate interdisciplinary treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and support staff
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Current RN or LVN license in Texas (or equivalent healthcare certification)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care or outpatient setting
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Exceptional weekend availability and flexibility
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
