Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care activities across clinical departments during weekend shifts
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure optimal coverage for weekend operations
- Oversee patient admission/discharge processes and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with on-call physicians to address emergent patient needs
- Conduct quality assurance checks and implement weekend-specific protocols
- Train weekend staff on updated medical procedures and compliance standards
- Act as primary liaison between weekend teams and weekday leadership
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of healthcare coordination experience with weekend shift exposure
- Current Arizona healthcare professional license/certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and hospital regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for high-pressure weekend scenarios
- Advanced proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
