Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and wound management
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate patient education and discharge planning
- Inventory management and supply ordering for weekend operations
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and emergency response teams
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday overflow
