Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ weekend staff through performance coaching and scheduling
- Implement process improvements to optimize weekend productivity and safety standards
- Coordinate cross-functional handoffs with weekday teams for operational continuity
- Monitor KPIs including throughput accuracy, on-time delivery, and team performance
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
- Manage weekend vendor relationships and supply chain logistics
Qualifications
- 3+ years in warehouse/supply chain management with weekend shift experience
- Proven leadership skills with direct team management history
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and inventory control methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating across departments
- Ability to work independently and make autonomous decisions
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday emergencies
