Responsibilities
- Lead 15-person weekend warehouse team, including hiring, training, and performance management
- Optimize inventory management and order fulfillment processes for peak weekend demand
- Coordinate with weekday operations to ensure seamless handovers and inventory accuracy
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance in all warehouse activities
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party logistics partners for weekend deliveries
- Develop weekend staffing schedules aligned with fluctuating demand patterns
Qualifications
- 3+ years in warehouse/operations management with weekend shift experience
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong leadership skills with proven team-building abilities in high-volume environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management training
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Valid Minnesota driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with TMS/WMS software and route optimization tools
