Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers during weekend shifts
- Oversee staffing assignments and ensure optimal department coverage
- Manage emergency response protocols and critical incident documentation
- Facilitate interdisciplinary team meetings and handovers
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and compliance documentation
- Supervise weekend patient flow and facility operations
- Implement quality improvement initiatives specific to weekend care delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required
- 3+ years clinical coordination experience in acute care setting
- Valid California RN or LVN license (or equivalent healthcare credential)
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
- Proficiency in Epic EMR and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional crisis management and decision-making abilities
- Weekend availability mandatory (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
