Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs per physician orders
- Document patient observations and care activities accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Assist with emergency response protocols and crisis management
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Support patient education and discharge planning processes
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or long-term experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
- Background check and drug screen clearance mandatory
