Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday, 7am-7pm)
- Accurately document patient records and maintain strict HIPAA compliance
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and emergency services as needed
- Perform diagnostic tests and administer treatments under physician supervision
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning
- Maintain sterile examination rooms and medical equipment
- Participate in weekend staff huddles and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Medical Assisting (or equivalent certification)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification and state healthcare license
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday shifts during staffing shortages
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
