Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate weekend warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and safety
- Manage team of 8-12 weekend staff, including scheduling and performance reviews
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures for weekend shipments
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex challenges to senior management
- Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce compliance protocols
- Prepare weekend performance reports and recommend process improvements
- Coordinate cross-functional communication between weekend and weekday teams
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse or logistics management experience
- Proven leadership ability with weekend shift teams
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and inventory management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, SAP)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Valid New York State driver's license preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management preferred
