Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 weekend staff members, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity
- Oversee inventory management, quality control, and order fulfillment processes
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless weekend operations
- Resolve operational escalations and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Conduct shift handovers and prepare detailed performance reports
- Drive process improvements using lean methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years in supervisory role within logistics, warehousing, or retail
- Proven experience managing weekend or overnight shifts
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Strong conflict resolution and team leadership abilities
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) and occasional holidays
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
