Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with 3-5 year commercial potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating futuristic technologies into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate next-generation solutions
- Build and manage relationships with research institutions, startups, and industry pioneers
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal education and change management
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting future technology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, product development, or innovation management
- Proven track record of anticipating tech trends and driving market disruption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation cycles
- Strong business acumen with P&L responsibility experience preferred
- Published thought leadership or patents in emerging technologies
