Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026-2030, identifying disruptive innovations across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies into product portfolios and business operations
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify first-mover advantages
- Partner with R&D teams to translate strategic vision into actionable innovation projects
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and technology pioneers
- Drive internal innovation workshops and future-focused culture initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends with documented impact on business strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, AR/VR, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Strong understanding of ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Published thought leadership or patents in technology innovation
