Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford) and tech incubators
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors influencing tech adoption curves
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global innovation forums
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products valued at $100M+
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, blockchain, and exponential technologies
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Experience securing Series B+ funding and scaling tech ventures
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
