Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging tech regulatory landscapes
- Partner with VCs to identify disruptive startups for strategic acquisition
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members
- Author whitepapers on sustainable tech adoption trends
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech strategy with 5+ in leadership roles
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Technology Review
- Proven track record of scaling tech innovations to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating tech foresight projects
- Security clearance preferred for sensitive R&D projects
