- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI) for strategic implementation opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external stakeholders through compelling data narratives
- Establish KPI frameworks for technology adoption ROI and competitive advantage metrics
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with rigorous ROI analysis and vendor partnerships
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Deep technical knowledge across AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, and immersive tech
- Executive presentation skills with C-suite/board experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPC) or Technology Management
