Responsibilities

- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, bio-integrated systems) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts
- Develop patent strategies for proprietary innovations in AI ethics and autonomous systems
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board members
- Forge alliances with academic institutions and national research consortia
- Mentor innovation teams in futures-thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of launching at least two paradigm-shifting products or platforms
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., APF, WFS)
- Executive-level experience with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech organizations
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technology forecasting or innovation
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
