- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership quarterly
- Manage a $5M innovation budget and oversee vendor/partner ecosystems
- Mentor a 15-person R&D team through agile methodologies
- Secure 3-5 strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies annually
- Pioneer new revenue streams through emerging technology commercialization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, AI, or biotech
- Proven track record of launching 3+ market-disrupting products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Proficiency in scenario planning and futures analysis methodologies
- Strong network with venture capital and academic institutions
- Experience scaling teams from 10 to 100+ professionals
