Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum, and biotechnology convergence
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with paradigm-shifting potential
- Develop patent strategies and intellectual property portfolios for breakthrough innovations
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into enterprise transformation
- Mentor next-generation technologists through our Innovation Incubator program
- Present strategic visions to investors and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with demonstrable impact on future-focused initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental technologies
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Business with strategic focus
- Portfolio of successfully commercialized future-tech concepts
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology adoption lifecycle modeling
- Certification in emerging technology assessment (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle)
