Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions (quantum-AI hybrids, neural interfaces, sustainable tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption windows
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor junior strategists and build external partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Produce quarterly tech trend reports for investor and stakeholder communications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of scaling emerging technologies (quantum, AI, or biotech preferred)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD/MSc)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation (e.g., APF, CFTE)
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 major technology commercializations
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
