Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable computing) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into current offerings
- Author thought leadership publications on technology evolution
- Build stakeholder relationships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in futures thinking or technology forecasting preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
