Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, AI ethics frameworks)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Design strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global tech summits
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets for experimental technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist roles with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, technology adoption curves)
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: generative AI, Web3, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech specialization
- Track record of launching at least two market-defining technologies
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent strategic foresight certification preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
