- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech patents and academic breakthroughs
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on technology disruption forecasts
- Establish KPIs for R&D investments in quantum-resistant cryptography and neuromorphic computing
- Partner with policy teams to shape regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
- Author annual 'Technology Horizon 2026' industry report
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven experience with quantum computing, AI ethics, or climate tech commercialization
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Published research in IEEE or Nature journals on technological disruption
- Deep understanding of semiconductor industry roadmap and nanotechnology trends
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for experimental technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
