Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 transformation milestones
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to synthesize foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Build and nurture an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives for executive decision-making
- Champion agile innovation methodologies to accelerate prototyping and validation of future concepts
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies for strategic acquisition and partnership opportunities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trends: AGI, quantum computing, bio-integration, and climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Experience building and leading cross-disciplinary innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (strongly preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into commercial innovation
