Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AGI) to forecast industry shifts through 2030
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and mitigate future risks
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic concepts into development pipelines
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers on next-gen market trends
- Advise executive leadership on strategic pivots and competitive positioning in evolving landscapes
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, STEEP analysis)
