Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging trends with business objectives and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable foresight frameworks
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and influence high-stakes decision-making
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with quantitative and qualitative trend analysis
- Champion innovation culture by mentoring teams on anticipatory thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and pattern recognition
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) or equivalent
