Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ technology adoption and market disruption
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging trends in biotech, AI, quantum computing, and neuro interfaces
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical, climate, and socioeconomic futures
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into product development and investment decisions
- Present strategic briefings to stakeholders including board members, venture partners, and government entities
- Establish innovation pipelines through partnerships with academic institutions and research consortia
- Champion ethical innovation protocols while balancing rapid prototyping with responsible deployment
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing exponential technology roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems modeling, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech convergence points (AI+Biotech+Quantum)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (white papers, journals)
