Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Quantify disruption risks/opportunities through proprietary AI-powered market modeling
- Prototype future-state business models with venture capital partners and incubation teams
- Author thought leadership publications on exponential technologies and societal evolution
- Build strategic partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our internal Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning with demonstrable impact at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation (Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis, backcasting)
- Track record of launching future-ready products/services with >$100M impact
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., APF, ACFC)
