Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for exponential technology adoption across enterprise divisions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align innovation priorities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with data-driven scenario planning for key industries
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for collaborative R&D
- Mentor junior futurists in systems thinking and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Proven track record in technology forecasting published in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology) and ethical implications
- Experience designing strategic foresight frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional visualization skills using tools like Tableau and Miro for complex data storytelling
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) strongly preferred
