Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for product innovation and market expansion
- Produce actionable trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investors
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic factors influencing future business landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
