Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof products and services
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to capture cutting-edge innovations
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and disruption preparedness
- Design and implement horizon-scanning methodologies across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in trend analysis, innovation strategy, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial and organizational strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight organizations)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable impact
