Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market evolution
- Analyze disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) and commercial viability
- Design scenario-planning models for climate resilience, demographic shifts, and regulatory transformations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation pipelines with future human needs
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for Fortune 500 partners and government entities
- Curate emerging tech partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
- Represent company at global futurism summits (WEF, Foresight Conference)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed futurism journals or white papers
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario modeling, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Track record of implementing future-oriented strategies in Fortune 500 settings
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant PhD
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ scenario development for complex systems
